I didn't get any comments on my post, either. I think it hits a little too close to home for folks.
Ok I'll comment. So the other day I was at the mall, looking at wool coats at Dillard's and trying some on, with the saleswoman singing to a completely different tune, "well if you think it's cute then just buy it." She said that about five times. I looked at the price tag on the coat I had on, a really really cute and pretty one that fit so nicely, $267. I frantically took it off right then before any of those woman's words started seeping into my brain, justifying that Christmas splurge, and left the store. I really wish I had that nice coat, but then again, who wants to call their parents to tell them they unexpectedly ran out of money? Maybe if I had just put it on my credit card...
