Mirror in the Bathroom

I like this song

It is not new. Not at all.

And it's all because of Becky.

Yes it is.

Actually, it's because of me too. I had it on a mix tape that I played over and over.

I don't know the story behind this song and the Craig family, but I have noticed that Steve and Becky have a little bit of a competition going regarding who used to like the coolest music. B claims credit for Steve liking The Police, which he denies. It's all very interesting.

ahh, the English Beat. I know this song. They actually came to Provo a couple of years ago and played in a park.... Another song you might have heard by them is "Sooner or Later", which is a pretty awesome song too.

I wanted to go to that concert so bad, but I didn't want to go by myself, and I don't really know that many people who are in to 80's like I am. Or I didn't then, maybe if they come back...

I haven't listened to this song since high-school. My brother had their album. Good stuff! Thank you. I also really like the one that starts out with the guy screaming "Order! What do you mean oi oi oi I said order! I will not tolerate that kind of behavior in my courtroom..." Or something like that. I love the English Beat. And I forgot all about my love until just now. Sigh.

Growing up I always thought they were saying, "meet her in the bathroom". Needless to say I didn't understand it.

I like to think of Steve and I as belonging to a "mutual affirmation society" when it comes to musical taste. And certainly I recognize that Steve is waaaaayyyyy cooler than me, esp. with his musical tastes!

However, not only did I see the English Beat live in concert in Spanish Fork Utah during the early nineties, but I met them after the show. My roommates and I hung out with them on the tour bus for a good 15 minutes before they invited us to go back to their hotel room. We graciously explained that we wouldn't be interested in the hotel room scene, but instead invited them to come over to our apartment for Sunday dinner after Church the next day.
They had to hit the road, or I'm sure they would have taken us up on it. The places you find yourself in when you're roommate is Karen.

Me again. I meant to say "Mutual Admiration Society" in that we admire great music. And thats affirmative.
