Catching Up

I would have thought I'd get here to Washington and settle into a delightully boring routine. You know, wake up, go to work, come home, work out, eat something, read a book, go to sleep. Repeat. But it hasn't happened yet.

I had to find an apartment first. Then move it. Then ENTERTAIN GUESTS! Who would have thought I'd have guests this early in the game? Glad they came, it was a ton of fun, including renting canoes, capsizing, trotting around downtown Seattle, Pike's Place, and more. More on all that later. Then I'm left to arrange my room, get the necessities (groceries, furniture, etc.) set up my computer, and try to fix my phone and camera, that were dropped in Lake Washington on Saturday when our canoe tipped over. Things will slow down a bit. Just not yet.

Some pictures to hold you over till the full story of surprise guests comes out. Also, expect a review of the new Indiana Jones movie.

I'll report more, but for now, I have to head to bed. Work tomorrow, you see.

I'm curious to see what you thought of the new Indiana Jones movie. I'll hold my comments until I hear yours. I wouldn't want to taint your view in any way.

Who are the friends? Did they stay with you? I guess I am asking if you have room for people to stay. Sorry about the spill into the lake. Glad you had fun though. Hope you got everything working again after the spill into the lake. Glad nobody drowned. Tell us what you do at work.

How FUN! You even make tipping into the lake sound fun. So glad they surprised you with a visit. I'll talk to Nancy. . .maybe the sisters can do the same? Not quite the same, I know, but still! And yes I want to know who everybody in the pictures are so you should post that info on the Family blog, brother. What a North West adventure you're having!

Can I come stay with you too? Find a weekend where your roommate is out of town so we can crash at your place!
